The Greater Rochester International Airport, located in Rochester, NY, is considered a mid-size airport. The airport terminal facility is open 24 hours a day. The airport is conveniently located four miles southwest of the City of Rochester.

Rochester is easily accessible and easy to get around. The Greater Rochester International Airport (GRIA) features a modern, convenient terminal; enclosed parking garage; and hundreds of daily flights by major airlines. Rochester is also served by the Trailways and Greyhound Bus Lines and Amtrak trains.
Driving Directions to the Rochester Riverside Convention from the Greater Rochester International Airport:
Take 390 north to 490 east. Follow signs to Downtown, exit inner loop east (exit 13) and take St. Paul Street and turn right (which will become South Ave). Go through 4 Traffic lights, after crossing Main Street turn left into the South Ave Entrance to the garage. The Convention Center is connected to the garage.
From East:
Thruway to Exit 45, 490 west to Rochester. Follow signs to DOWNTOWN. Exit Clinton Avenue. Merge to Clinton, go 3 traffic lights to Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad and after first light make a right into the Broad Street Entrance of the South Avenue Parking Garage. The skywalk to the Convention Center is located on level 3 of the Garage. The Convention Center is connected to the Garage.
From West:

Transportation and Services
Bus and Rail Information
Both Greyhound Bus Line/New York Trailways and Amtrak services Rochester, New York.
Greyhound Bus Line and New York Trailways have a terminal located at Midtown Plaza, which is located in downtown Rochester. The station is located at 186 Cumberland Street, between the Inner Loop and the Amtrak station.
The Rochester Amtrak station replaced the Bragdon Central Station and is located near the previous station site on Central Avenue between Joseph Avenue and North Clinton Avenue. The address is 320 Central Ave., Rochester NY 14605
Amtrak trains that stop here are the Empire (Niagara Falls to NYC), Lakeshore Limited (NYC/Boston to Chicago) and the Maple Leaf (NYC to Toronto).
To get to downtown from airport, the Rochester Transportation Service (RTS) bus picks up directly in front of the airport terminal on the lower level. Passengers would take the RTS to Midtown Plaza and Greyhound is located through Midtown Plaza to the left.
Amtrak’s station is not on the RTS bus route from the airport; however, taxi service for passengers is available.
For more specific RTS schedules and information please stop by the Visitor’s Information Booth located in the baggage claim area of the airport or visit the Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority website.
Rental and Shuttle Information
A variety of rental car and shuttles options are available from GRIA. Car rental counters at the airport are located on the lower level adjacent to the baggage claim area. Check out the special discounts for FIO/LS Attendees.
Parking
The Rochester Riverside Convention Center (RRCC) has parking garage. If you enter the garage from the Stone St. entrance please proceed through the garage and follow the signs directing you to parking for the Convention Center. If your parking is validated please take your ticket to your destination, where it will be validated for you. When exiting, you have the option to pay at the exit using Visa/Mastercard. If paying cash, you must take your ticket to the payment kiosk located on level 3, just over the skybridge on the Convention Center side. Upon leaving, signs will direct you to the Stone St. South Ave and Broad St. exits.
The maximum vehicle height for this garage is 7 feet, any vehicles over 7 feet tall need to call the garage ahead of time to make special parking arrangements. For more information on parking, review links below:
