Ground Transportation Options at Denver International Airport

The Denver International Airport (DEN) is located 25.7 miles (41 km) from the Colorado Convention Center

By Taxi

Taxicabs are readily available and provide service to the Denver metro area and surrounding counties.

  • Flat Rate Charges: The following popular destinations have flat-rate charges (one-way fare, airport access fee already included):

  • Downtown Denver (Zone A) – $71.03
  • Denver Tech. Center (Zone B) – $79.03
  • Boulder (Zone C) – $114.03
  • Tower Road (Zone D) – $36.03

By Rideshare – Uber and Lyft

Uber and Lyft offer convenient service throughout the Denver area. Simply download the preferred mobile app, create an account and add payment information. You're all set to get to your next destination.

Ride shares can be accessed on Island 5 of either side of the terminal (East or West)

Helpful Tips for Ride Apps:

  • Wait to request your ride until after you’ve claimed your luggage at baggage claim or have arrived on Level 5.
  • Please use the designated crosswalks to access Island 5 and be aware of vehicle traffic in the area.
  • Ride app drivers are not allowed to solicit customers and payment is made in the mobile app.
  • Rides may only be requested through the mobile apps.
  • Before you get into a ride app vehicle, make sure the license plate, car make and model, and driver name match what is listed in the app.
  • Rideshare passengers that require extra assistance can request a pickup at the curbside of Level 5 near doors 504, 506, 510 or 512 (west side) or doors 505, 507, 511 or 513 (east side).
By Airport Shuttle Service

Shared-ride service, also known as commuter shuttles, operate regularly from Denver International Airport.

Individual operators may provide pre-arranged, on-demand, and/or charter services to locations within the Denver metro area and the state of Colorado. Some companies may also provide service to locations outside the state. Contact the shuttle provider of your choice to arrange transportation service.

Shared-ride service shuttles pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, island 5, outside doors 505-507 (east side) and 510-512 (west side).

 

By Public Bus or Train (RTD) 

The Denver Airport Station is located at the DEN Transit Center, Level 1, adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport. The station serves RTD routes AB, AT, 104L, 145X and 169L.

The DEN Transit Center can be accessed at the south end of Jeppesen Terminal by exiting through the glass doors and taking the escalator or elevator down to ground level.

Venue Parking

Park 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 30 days. Individual monthly permits can be purchased from our pay stations by using a major credit card (display a printed paper receipt valid for 30 days). All monthly parking occurs on level P2 in the garage

Parking Rates:

Park up to 8 Hours: $12.00
Park up to 12 Hours: $15.00
Park up to 18 Hours: $17.00
Park up to 24 Hours: $25.00

Directions to Parking Garage:

For specific directions in how to get to the Colorado Convention Center parking garage, please enter your starting address here and a map and directions will populate. Please be sure to include your full address, city, state and zip.

Handicapped Accessible Parking:

Designated handicapped parking is available on all three levels of the parking garage. A valid state-issued handicapped placard or license plate is required. All disability parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis and requires payment at the automated pay stations.

Passenger Pick Up/Drop Off

For those guests with mobility restrictions, a passenger drop-off area is located just off Stout Street near the intersection of Speer Boulevard. Our Guest Services staff are there to assist you.

EV Parking

There is 1 EV Charger available on P1, half way down on the right by the sign.

Automated Pay Station Instructions:

With our automated pay station, parking is easy and convenient. Simply park in any non-reserved spot, remember your vehicle stall number, and proceed to any pay station located on all levels within the parking garage. Credit Cards can be used at any of the automated pay stations, NO CASH IS ACCEPTED.

Other Parking Options

Although parking in and around downtown Denver and the Convention Center can be challenging, there are numerous parking garages and lots in the area.

The Convention Center highly recommends their  drop off/pick up location for any individual(s) in wheelchairs or may not be able to walk for periods of time. You may get wheelchair service right inside their theatre.
