Postdeadline Submission Deadline: 28 August at 12:00 EDT (16:00 GMT)
One Final Opportunity to Present at FiO + LS
The regular submission period for OSA Frontiers in Optics + Laser Science APS/DLS has closed. However, we are currently looking for late-breaking research that will be presented in the Postdeadline Papers session.
The purpose of postdeadline papers is to give participants the opportunity to hear new and significant material in rapidly advancing areas. Only those papers judged to be truly excellent and compelling in their timeliness are accepted for oral postdeadline presentation. If you believe your work meets these requirements, you are encouraged to submit a postdeadline paper. A limited number of papers will be accepted as oral talks only.
Steps to Prepare Your Submission
Determine in which submission category your research fits. The organization of Technical Conference content still rests firmly (and recognizably) on the foundation of OSA Technical Divisions.
Understand the paper submission requirements and guidelines.
Submit your abstract and summary description before deadline listed above.
Why Submit a Paper?
Accepted and presented papers are published in OSA Publishing's Digital Library, indexed in Ei Compendex and Scopus and tagged to facilitate results in Google Scholar and its search engine.
Get the Most From Membership
FiO, the OSA Annual Meeting, is intended to be inclusive and diverse — which is why all OSA Members will be given the ability to present a contributed paper.
Present in front of a supportive, international audience of peers, colleagues and other OSA Members. In 2017, 2,500 attendees came from more than 60 countries.
As a presenter, you're also an attendee. You'll have numerous opportunities, formal and informal, to meet, network and engage with other presenters and attendees — leaders from academia, industry and government.
