Frequency Converted Diode Lasers
TOPTICA’s exceptionally robust grating-stabilized diode lasers in patented ‘pro’ design cover large tuning ranges and narrow linewidths with optimized hands-off operation. The tunable single-frequency diode lasers are available for individual wavelengths between 190 nm and 4000 nm, and deliver narrow-linewidth emission that is tunable – in some systems up to 120 nm wide without a single mode-hop.
Availabe in either in stand-alone amplifiers or in complete Master Oscillator Power Amplifer (MOPA) systems, these lasers can reach CW powers up to 4 W. TOPTICA’s amplified systems utilize both TA and RFA to achieve industry-leading high power.
Frequency-converted lasers extend the accessible spectral range in the UV, visible and mid-IR, and provide highest output powers.
Important to note on all these systems are low noise (RIN and linewidth) and drift; properties that benefit from DLC controller. For further stabilization, a range of laser locking electronics serves for linewidths down to the 1 Hz level and convenient digital control.
TOPTICA's Tunable Diode Lasers are also available in rack-mounted versions for Laser Rack Systems.
WS8-2 High End Wavelength Meter
The WS8-2 is the unsurpassed high-end instrument for wavelength measurement of pulsed/continuous laser sources, delivering absolute and relative accuracy for cutting-edge scientific research and industry. The WS8-2 is the highest-end solution for wavelength monitoring and control with an absolute accuracy of 2 MHz and a wavelength deviation sensitivity of 0.2 MHz. The WS8-2 is subject to most stringent production, testing and certification procedures and therefore offers the maximum accuracy with state-of-the-art technology. It comes with the photonic crystal switch, enabling multichannel operation in the spectral range of the wavelength meter. The 2 MHz accuracy presumes, that the device is supported by one of our calibration sources based on atomic spectroscopy (or another laser source with comparable accuracy).
The CTL is the ultimate choice when looking for a laser that is widely and continuously tunable without any mode-hops. It features high power, a narrow linewidth and low drift. Scans can be performed with highest resolution. Mode-hops are prevented by an innovative and patented opto-mechanical design combined with an active feedback loop called SMILE (Single Mode Intelligent Loop Engine) that keeps the laser on the same mode at all times. With the fully digital, low noise and drift DLC pro controller, the CTL laser is easy to use and operate via touch-screen and knobs as well as via remote PC GUI and command language (Python SDK). With firmware 2.0.3 (free updates available), DLC CTL now includes a test system for characterizing components or recording spectra.
CTL lasers are ideally suited for applications that require large mode-hop free tuning ranges, such as the resonant excitation of small structures like quantum dots and micro-cavities. Also molecular spectroscopy and components testing will benefit from CTLs exceptional properties.
