Joseph Eberly (1935–2025) was a pioneer in quantum optics from the field’s earliest days and throughout its first 50 years of development. He was a dedicated mentor and teacher who inspired generations of physicists, including experimentalists and theorists alike, and is fondly remembered by the many students, colleagues and collaborators whose lives and careers he influenced.
Join us for this special symposium celebrating the life and science of Joe Eberly. The session will bring together members of the scientific community to share their recent research and reflect on the enduring legacy of his work.
