NSF X-lites network would like to invite you to join for an X-lites Lunch & Learn, followed by a tour of the Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE).
Date: Thursday, October 1, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Laboratory for Laser Energetics, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY (room for lunch TBD)
During the Lunch & Learn, you'll hear more about the X-lites Network and the opportunities it offers for collaboration around extreme light facilities worldwide, followed by a guided tour of the LLE's OMEGA/OMEGA EP/FLUX laser facility.
RSVP Deadline: July 31, 2026 - late registration requests may be accepted; however, LLE tour access cannot be guaranteed due to the required security clearance process.
Because the LLE tour requires facility security clearance, visitors must complete a Visitor Information Form at least 60 days before arrival. This allows time to process your visit through the Department of Energy's Foreign Access Central Tracking System (FACTS). Without this clearance, we will not be able to grant you access to the facility, so we need your RSVP no later than July 31.
